M' down and out! I just saw the eye surgeon. He tells me my eyes heal fine. He says there is still swelling and the surgical marks which can be covered by makeup. (Actually, I think they look great. I rarely notice the swelling). Six months to heal so I have another two to go.

I don't know what to say. I just got home. My husband says he heard on PBS that GORE won the election in Florida. They counted the votes. People wrote in Gore's name when they couldn't punch the chad. The vote count was done by credible organization, either WSJ or WA POST, he thinks. There is talk of Impeachment of the Supreme Court. The news is on our local PBS station.
