can give a cheery wish for the holidays .... but as for the market ... sigh ... no cheer as for T and many others .... lil story a few years ago I own UTI, an energy company. The sector had gone to stock death heaven. a good en stock got 'stuck with some shares in the 20's and watched it die to the 5 area or so it took a year to finally come back to life but the good en did prevail .... now I know we are dismal and have huge losses (well most of us anyways) but if we can afford to sit on the 'stuck' ones ... eventually ... most again will prosper with patience. ........ I talked to a couple of 'elete' brokers recently both were very awed at the market decline ... for so long ... and losses in their customers postfolios ... 'good' stocks like csco intc and sunw .. stocks their customers (where commissions run in the hundreds and up) are 'stuck' in ..... too so it's not just "us" happy holidays ... I know mine have been much better since turning off cnbc for the last couple weeks
