yes, agreed we are pretty much saying the same thing, except it seems to me that the reevaluation didn't occur until the money ran out... so I see it as an effect rather than causal... a bit like a ponzi scheme, that only comes into question, when the last investors don't get paid back, and the house of cards begins to fall.
the valuations were suspect way before march 2000 on any reasonable model.
but no one was concerned til the parabolic curve cracked,
and investors started to lose instead of gain...
