Hi Rashid,

A pleasure to christen a scan for you - the DI delta is a great idea for these markets. Long long ago (back in my WOW days) I built a histogram to track just this - and added an 8 period (I think it was 8, maybe 5) EMA to it. Worked like MACD, but used +DI and -DI instead of 2 MAs. I may try to program such in BITM this weekend again just for grins, but as a scan I think an increasing Delta (or maybe chart it as a slope function?) works well.

Have you thought of limiting your list with a requirement for a beta > 1.5 or an alpha, or perhaps an RSI (vs. a benchmark index)?

Ravenquote has definitely got my eye, but presently I don't have a machine and data line that I'd dedicate solely to it and quote.com. What platform/machine do you run on? I have some older machines around that I could soup up, or perhaps I'd be better off just buying a lower end new machine, say a 500 Hz Celeron or P3 with 128 MB ram and a 10 Gig drive. If a laptop will suffice, (plugged to a good monitor) I might finally break down and get one, just for the flexibility of taking it on vacation (or is that oxymoronic?).

Thanks for the ideas and hope you have a speedy recovery.

Peace and Justice --- Patrick
