Dear QS: Well, when I was involved in business managers used EXCUSES like this to tighten up. I am relatively sure that over the past 10 years or so Corporate America has likely gotten pretty sloppy internally with all the largess floating around. Now, they have the opportunity to get a little leaner and meaner. I think they will.
As to Dubya, I think you gotta admit, so far his cabinet choices sure look good. I thought his appointment of Greenspans BUDDY as Treasury Secretary was a good one. If AG and Bush could WORK TOGETHER to create a better economy I would think it could be wonderful. JDN
