Avnx, was definitely holding up much better than its peers, yesterday.
I attribute this to a larger base of buying interest than we realized.
I'm a playing this two ways, long term and near term. Near term I look for tradable moves, long term, I look for good buy and hold entry points.
It seems that large long term buyers have been taking positions ever since 100. They can't micro manage their trades, and have to buy shares as people sell, or they will drive the price up. Looking at the chart, one can see there was days worth of buying at 100, 90, 80, and 70.
The ultimate lows that people project make sense, but they may or may not remain for long. Large investors, have to take, what they can get for shares, as they become available on the way down.If large investors waited for the absolute bottom, there may not be enough shares waited anytime. Unless you don't happen to be there, when the stock makes its low. That's why I have just been cost averaging in, and trading good moves when I can. |
