Let me get this straight ... you're saying that if a voter marks the spot to vote for Al Gore on a ballot, and then writes in "Al Gore" somewhere else on the ballot, it doesn't count as a vote for Al Gore? As has been made perfectly clear through the Florida Statutes cited earlier on this board, under state law a ballot counts if it contains "a clear indication of voter intent." What could be clearer than the vote I just described?
