A 2001 gift to the Group. My favorite stock for 2001, and beyond is Computer Task Group CTG-NY. The company has been in business since the late 60's and is in information services consulting. They have thousands of consultants around the world. The company hit a low point with the past CEO, who apparently lost focus. She has been replaced some months back and may have depressed the stock price by her selling of a large block of stock, from time to time, on the open market. It appears her selling is finished. Information technology out-sourcing will grow at double digit rates for many years into the future. I have followed this company for years and watched it move from the $5's in the early 90's into the 20's. The balance sheet is fine. The technicals on the chart has just turned very positive and most important to me is the insider buys. What I look for in any insider buying is purchases from the Chief Financial Officer. Just recently, the CFO of CTG started buying the stock. If I could buy only one stock, it would be Computer Task Group . I have been buying shares the past month and will buy more, although 80% of my buying is complete for now. The interesting thing is the stock today is trading at my average cost basis $3 7/8. This stock is a keeper for the next few years and represents very little risk, in my opinion, going forward. As usual, do your own research and best wishes to all.
