Advanced Communications Technologies Announces Filing of Application for AMEX Listing
IRVINE, Calif., Dec 18, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Advanced Communications Technologies Inc. (OTCBB: ADVC), today announced that it had submitted an application to list the company on the American Stock Exchange (AMEX).
The application is subject to AMEX approval with notification expected within 60-90 days.
Commenting on the application, Roger May, Chief Executive Officer said, "Achieving a listing of our stock on the AMEX exchange will provide the company with far greater visibility within the investment community. We would also have the added advantage of gaining a specialist on the floor of the exchange which would provide a much fairer and more stable market for the company's stock".
The filing of the AMEX application marks the latest in a series of strategic moves for the company which includes the filing of a second patent for its Spectrucell multiple protocol mobile wireless base station technology.
