I don't know about the rest of the ankle biters, free riders, odd lotters and generally semi-euthanized lurkers out there, but I'm waiting for much more rancorous posts before I can call this a food fight worthy of going even minimum margin, let alone max margin.

Come on, someone lob a dish of shepherd's pie my way (my way or the highway, it doesn't really matter, does it?).

I see tech rallied out of the 2300s as if to prove me wrong. Dang. Let's watch the close closely, shall we? Or somebody flame me. Let's see some real passion here.

OSX seems to like the 115-120 level. UTI has sold down below where the CIBC fellas are underwriting some shares ($27 + 0.75 underwriting fee + 50% of the upside from there on a secondary sale of Remy Partners' stake). MDR looks strong, GLBL looks strong--what will it take for FGH to rise again?

In the meantime we could sing Christmas carols (or Kwanzaa Karols, that's okay with me). I'll start off with "Feliz Navidad," sung in the inimitable style of Jose Feliciano ("Ah wanna wish you-a Merry Christmas"). Ah one and ah two . . .

For my next number, please put your hands together for Le Bon Mec Kodiac singing, "Un flambeau, Jeannette Isabelle . . ." done in a falsetto halfway between the Singing Nun and the late great Tiny Tim.
