Glenn,re:"Amazon management?". What, did I miss something? Define 'management'. John, My opinion has been management at Amazon has misled their investors from the beginning. The amount of money taken out of that company due to stock manipulation by press release is amazing. Whatever happened to Covey? She took out $30 million plus I believe and was an accountant. My accountant here makes less than that in two years<G> The numbers presented in all their reports are missing what really counts. There is intentional misleading for example, the ACN payments sure sounded like they were cash. I could go on forever. My opinion is we have a group of people in charge that are lacking any ethnic whatsoever. No one in managements ever wants to comment on anything. I never heard of a company that has an internal target for profitability but does not want to tell anyone. Finally, the accounting that comes out of Amazon is so far from GAAP I do not even know what to call it. These are my opinions. Look at the press releases over the years. The SEC filings and draw your own conclusions.
