Reagan used to make up stories about welfare cheats stealing a few thousand dollars, and then go off and waste tens of billions on stupid projects like Star wars and the Ronnie Raygun/ Georgie Bush Superconducting Superporker outside of Dallas. (Now used to grow mushrooms.) Scumbria, This isn't very fair but screw it. Oil hit a 7 month low yesterday around $26 per barrel. OPEC has said repeatedly that if oil falls below $28 per barrel, they will consider a production cut and most definitely, if the price falls below $24 per barrel. So what does dubya do yesterday as oil is sliding below $26 but call up the Venezualan president (also the president of OPEC) and asked if OPEC would increase production. This has been such an issue....Clinton made several attempts (one of which was successful) to get oil production increased as the price per barrel began to exceed $35....its been in all the media, both print and online, for months now. I can only conclude that dubya's problem is that he doesn't read or listen to any of the media. ted
