John, I was talking to another SI member and PM and one of the things that we thought would be an indicator of where the big boys see things going is to see if the VC money is drying up. If VC doesn't think that they can recoup their money in a big way through IPOs, I would expect that they would hold off on making investments. If I read this right, there is still a fair amount of VC money out there. Lehman putting $75B in the telecom fund (40% internal) in October, tells me that they see some potential here.
