15:04 ET IBM (IBM) 80 9/16 -5 7/16 (-6.3%): Traders attributing late-session retreat on the Nasdaq (-6) to the resurfacing of rumor that Big Blue will miss its quarter. Certainly not a new rumor, but in earnings warning season investors/traders tend to take a little more caution than they otherwise would. IBM shares have plunged almost 7 1/2 pts from their high of the day.
