All Disney has to do is license the software for supporting ITV /Enhanced TV from ACTV which owns the patents......both parties will be rewarded.
If Disney does not agree then the courts will make that decision for them.

It behoves both these companies to find common ground. The synergy that could exist by the combined efforts could be the key catalist to move ITV forward. These two companies were meant to work together. I hope the corporate offices of both companies are thinking clearly. IATV, DIS, MSFT, T, LDIG, LMGA, MOT, SFA, OPTV, LBRT, AOLTV, SEAC, wireless, pcs, working together would deliver a digital communication and entertainment environment far past simple push-pull /buy-sell scenario. All of these companies have integration/licensing of IATV software except Disney. We will be communicating with each other all the time if we choose. This is the direction of the evolving interactive sector. All you suits at ACTV and Disney need to find a way and make it work. This is "totally unacceptable" as the cookie cutter managers like to throw at people. I think the stock holders of both companies should force, by numbers and strength of their communications, these fools to get talking. There is a whole new communication level here to be built. The monetary profit offered by this is more than any of us dream, but the growth and social change resulting will make money different in its importance. Damnified Patient. |
