Hi ak - I wouldn't have the foggiest <g>! Indeed, maybe the company has been too aggressive in showing the worthiness of the asset. My guess is that banks [especially in a tightening environment] are not generous in such an appraisal, especially to micro cap with a skeleton in its closet. If you look at Yahoo!, there are a lot of *penny* stocks with a double digit book value. Unfortunately, much of it is like out of date fashion for retailers and custom software for others. The former is worth pennies to a dollar and the latter is worthless except for the owner. Maybe VARL is doing something like that, or maybe not, we don't know. But it is not big big surprise, even to gullible people like me know the pitfall of tangibles and intangibles. I am not surprised, but I still kick myself for not digging deep enough before making my bet in the mkt

best, Bosco
