FChang,

Yes, I know that Microsoft and Citrix are working together. Insignia does not make a competing product. Insignia's NTRIGUE server is software that sits on-top-of Citrix's WinFrame. NTRIGUE converts WinFrame's ICA protocol into the industry standard X-Windows protocol. There are very strong commercial reasons why Microsoft would want NT to be X compliant.

I Was not saying that Microsoft might be making a play for Insignia instead of Citrix. I was saying that Microsoft may be making a play for Insignia to supplement (enhance, add to) their strategy that involves Citrix.

Insignia also has a number of other products that Microsoft would benefit from, but that is a different story altogether.

At total Market cap. of $46 Million, Microsoft could buy Insignia with pocket change.

If it does happens, don't say I didn't give you this tip!
