The Fed needs Milton Friedman Eeegads, not Uncle Milty. The last thing we need is a died in the wool monetarist at the Fed. Monetarism was the greatest economic blunder of the last 50 years. Leave the stake in its heart, nobody pays serious attention to the money supply anymore. Targeting it could lead to disaster!
