A great article about the Great Plains acquisition: news.cnet.com

It answers one question: How does the acquistion fit with Softie's .Net initiative? But it begs another question for GGamers: When a company becomes really huge, is there a point that the only way it can expand its market opportunities is by competing with its partners? And if that's the case, is that the classic symptom of a caged Gorilla?
