Hi Andrew,

when I spoke to Rod, he mentioned something about
increasing the presence of Bow Flex machines at
the level of retail. I don't know how exactly they
plan to proceed, though. If they do, they should do
so carefully so as not to impact margins too strongly.

I wouldn't say that INTC and IBM are particularly
overvalued (look at the small percentage drop INTC
suffered after preannouncing a drop in revs
compared to the previous quarter). MSFT perhaps.
Maybe valuations of other blue chip companies such
as COKE and McDonald, which seem high, may to some
extent be due to the recent infatuation with index
funds. But I tend to agree with you. I have
seen several of my microcap investments either go
down or stagnate.

back to BFX. I'm still optimistic, mainly because it
does seem that someone with deep pockets is bidding
for the stock. Again, 16 300 shares at 1.20 on the
bid. Eventually, whoever is selling will have sold
(hopefully!!).

I've just received my annual report. One negative
which will impact earnings is that 20% of profits were
due to a tax credit last year. In the first quarter
of this year, BFX had to pay 35% tax rate. They still
made 0.03 cts US/share (superb performance!). So my
expectation is that income will be more or less flat
this year with revs sharply up again. At 1.20$ cdn/share,
I think BFX is an absolute steal!
