Ike, they retain the option to charge for their other services...they do a lot of web hosting stuff...as well and other things.....with RB going under the hammer soon, SI is the only real competition in chatboards. The financial services, the news services....well, all of them are best of the best....if they charged me say $20 a month...you think you wouldn't pay ? Esp when all the free stuff will be soon gone from the web under the current climate.... I think most people underrate their business model, and the possibilities it represents.... This is the portal with the power to survive....if any portal is to survive. If you talk of eternal winters...then yes, I would agree...but don't you think thats a bit extreme... Spring is round the corner.....just a matter of time <smile> EternallyOptimistic.com
