Especially like that link and this :

Whether the universe as a whole can change or not is quite irrelevant; important alone is that there is a genuine creative advance possible for the individual and that the past that is ever growing in him as a widening horizon of experience and wisdom will continue so to grow until the individual has reached the state in which the universe becomes conscious in him as one living organism, not only as an abstract unity or a state of featureless oneness. This is the highest dimension of consciousness.

about says it all... though, between Hinduism
and Buddhism, the Dharma's are divided into
subcatagories that rise into the Universal.

Dharma being that orderly unfoldment and motions of the individual towards or away from Enlightenment.

Individual Dharma , Social Dharma , Universal Dharma...in
a process of refinement of the soul within towards his goal on the path. Concious of one's life and the life around him.

Out of that unfoldment/realization/contemplations above
have come all of man's greatest works , in science , religion philosophy and art....from the men and women who
strove to become deeply aware of the world
as it is around and within them, in deep reverie
and much struggle.

Now if we can just get the unconcious ,smirking , lurking , fat jowled ----->Jerry Fallwell crowd to stop with their incessant children's noise about the Devil and eternal Hell.....

....but it makes them feel so "saved"....<VBG>

;-)

mars

Buddha was wise not to want to be saved....but more.
