Jeff, You truly are blowing smoke out your.... For years, courts all over the country have held that highly mismarked ballots are perfectly countable if the voter's intent can be ascertained. You do NOT have to follow the instructions. You may mark a ballot with a pen when a #2 pencil is required. You may cross out an error and write in your candidate in the write-in space. You may circle the candidate's name with a pencil and not even punch it out AT ALL. I've heard your type of claim over and over lately and it has absolutely no foundation in law. Don't even bother to breath a syllable about the US Supreme Court - their perverse and criminal ruling, in their own words, applies only to this election in Florida and sets NO precedent (what could be weirder that that?). What you claim/argue/speculate/surmise is pure fiction and wishful thinking and no one should waste their time on your arguments (except me this one time...). Get it? --fl@probablyunfathomable.duh
