Jim_P,

Can we make a distinction between stupid and ignorant here, please? :o)

Since so many people are new to investing it may be very possible many didn't (and maybe still don't) understand the tax implications of options. I didn't until very recently, when I asked on the thread and was answered promptly. I have been investing for 15 years. Main reason this is new to me is that I finally felt confident enough to start dealing in options this year (and had money I could afford to burn). I confess I am VERY ignorant, but would like to think I'm not stupid.

Looked through the ice crusted window this monring at the outdoor thermometer. It has wind chill info printed on it so only the last inch of the needle can be seen. Thought the needle had fallen off. Finally found it. It was sitting on 0 degrees.
