You know, based on the earlier post about PCs going the way of the refrigerator, maybe GE should buy Compaq.
After all, they've found more ways to manage markets and squeeze blood from a stone than anyone else.
Plus, CPQ would fit in very well with several of their divisions, such as GEIS, Medical, and Aircraft Manufacturing.

Yes, at this price, GE could practically buy it with CPQ's own money........
