Well .. since $50 seems to be the going scrap price, you might try:

Calling dealerships and trying to find the one that has something that they would be embarised to put on their lot.

Might have to move up your target to ~$100.

They'll want you to sign papers that say that you are aware that the car will probably die ten feet or less off the lot.

edit:

Might have to add something to that statement about telling folks about the sale would represent defamation of charactor.
