Pat, He is a good trader. His job is not to look at long term trends. He runs a hedge fund that trades very actively on short term news. At some point (maybe early this month) he said he was up about 30% this year. That is not bad in a down market but I think hedge funds should have been able to make a lot more than that in this environment. Still think he is very useful if one is an active trader. I find that he is thinking exactly the same thing that I am at times. He is very useful for predicting short term trends and is a daytrader's best friend, IMHO. He may not be always right but he will not stick to his position religously..and is quick to change. Long term investors should not pay attention to every comment he makes. I think he is way off base in optical.
