His job is not to look at long term trends. He runs a hedge fund that trades very actively on short term news.


Then why would anyone listen to his thoughts on any company's future? Basically he wants stocks to move in the direction of his current bet. If he's short JDSU then his comments will be negative, and vice versa.

For a long-term investor to read his newsletter is like using a recipe for rat poison when making Christmas cookies.
