Thanks for the follow-up on patents and "the largest antibiotic research and development effort in the world":

"Microcide, along with its corporate partners, is engaged in the largest antibiotic research and development effort in the world"

This sounds to me less like a claim that they are "running" the largest antibiotic research and development effort in the world and more like they "are part of" that global effort.

In any case, Microcide certainly looks like one of the best pure plays in antibiotics among the small biotechs. I think the combination of a field with pressing needs and enormous potential in conjunction with MCDE's strong research capabilities looks very promising.

I tried to follow your link, but couldn't find anything searching for "staph". Any missing steps?
