Yes, it does ring hollow. Oh, all of us will go on and have fun, and travel, and be happy, and there are always grandchildren. Thank heavens we are not without resources. But how I will miss the energy around here. ALways something happening and all the kids in and out eating everything.

Have you said how old your children are? Are you in imminent sight of empty nest or are you just being nice and sympathetic with the poor Rambicrone?
