A while back, someone posted that Crucial was selling RAM at great prices. I don't move fast, quite some time went by before I placed my order. Meanwhile, the price dropped further. Now I have plenty of memory, in my computer at least.

I also use Norton SystemDoctor, the row of meters, and interestingly enough, they report my Swap File size as zero, and my Cache used as zero as well. Now I can look and see I have a swap file, and it's 50,000 bytes.

Do you, or anyone else, know how to check cache sizes manually? Or for that matter, can any light be shed on my zero mystery?

Cheers, PW.

P.S. My memory thingy was called a SODIMM. Any idea what this means? Silly Old Dame Installing More Memory?
