Andrew, Maybe I misunderstood you but my idea of an "investment" is a buy and hold without much thought of ever selling. When stocks in a group have a history of retracing all of their gains in the down cycle, I think you will agree that an "investment" strategy won't work. When I talk about "trading" these stocks, I am talking about trying to play the cycle, not trading in and out every couple of weeks. Hope this clarifies things. Phil
