I don't recall salting ever being mentioned in my University geology courses (admittedly some time ago now). Generally there is quite a low awareness about salting in the world of professional geologists. I mean, the bulk of geologists are involved in project specific work for large, medium or small companies. Salting doesn't come up. To the vast majority of geologists, to salt a sample would be unthinkable, sacrilege. It is wrong to think of us geos going around thinking and worry about salting. Of course Bill, geos involved in property assessment work have to be vary aware of the possibility of salting.

Salam, Junaidi.
