Are you still young Mitch? First of all I don't think you would want to work SEC. It is a non-law enforcement position and has that "normal" retirement..ie 55 or older?. I would assume you have the standard 20 or 25 and out. I would guess as with many other states that California (don't know why I selected that. Must have read it) Campus Police are in the State Retirement Systems. We have 20 and out at 50% plus 3% per year to 25 without medical. 25 and out at 65% plus medical plus 1% per year til 70% max. I assume your's is similar. Most are within a similar construct due to bargaining references which tend to give us all good ideas ;).

I spent 10 year's as a union pres and vp. We can talk more about that PM if you like.
