Hi Gerald, Yes the odds would be relatively small, but the way our nation's people are so evenly divided these days it could certainly happen, but of course the odds of two elections in a row decided exclusively by the Electoral college would be extremely low..... Other countries around the world have runoff elections when there are problems with the first election and I still believe that to be the best choice next time something like this happens, and of course we should allow enough time for all of the military to vote again with new special ballots that could not be confused in any way with the first batch..... And if it should ever happen that a third party candidate should come in second place in a particular state, the the runoff in that state would be between the first and second place candidates.....
