I'm still waiting for them to top their ace move of all time, which was the $100 Billion-plus purchase and other investments in black coax. Maybe they'll now go ahead and spend another several hundred billion resurrecting telegraph.

Frank, I have to tell you, you have me laughing. I know your first love is the twisted pair and that you have no affinity for dumb ole coax, but sometimes the lowliest of mediums can rise above their origins. Me thinks the power of the network is in the number of connections, not necessarily the wire that they travel over, telegraph wire not withstanding. It remains to be seen whether T survives long enough to see its vision made flesh.
