Well, if only Microsoft had any decent products to sell, their stock would have shot up today. Ol' Dubya appointed a new AG from Missouri, John Ashcroft, who has so much good will from the people of the Show-Me State that he lost his senate race to a dead man. With this powerhouse running Justice, they're likely to bury the Microsoft case in the graveyard and award Gates some kind of medal for All-American Hammerlock Commerce. Sheesh...remember when insane Emperor Caligula made his horse a Roman senator? --QS
