One of the things that makes a national minimum wage a difficult thing to justify is the fact that $10 per hour isn't enough to make payments on a black and white TV set in Kodiak Alaska, but it is enough to raise a family of 6 in a certain amount of splendor in some of the rural parts of the South. But my biggest problem with both political parties, as well as the country as a whole is the materialism. It's like the only thing that matters is health and wealth. -- Carl
