Charley, It was worse than that. I think that what Maddy "Mad Cow" Albright said was "Why do we have all these weapons if we never use them?" and to that, Colin Powell said he almost had an aneurysm. Liberals just never seem to understand the prudent use of force. The Clinton Administration tried to turn the military into "Globo-cop" and just about spent our assets in cruise missiles in raid after raid on targets that had zero military value. I remember that at one point during the Kosovo War, the Pentagon actually sent a letter to the Whitehouse and basically said that we were going to run out of air launched cruise missiles if we keep going like this. Clinton's response was to simply switch to B-52s and and good old iron bombs a la 'Nam. It was just amazing how the draft dodger turned Commander in Chief could find himself in the same position as Nixon, dropping endless ordinance on soft targets trying to find some breaking point with the enemy. -John
