The analogy of your proposal is like this: we all know
Fed is very likely to cut the rate in Jan next year,
but that's not a 100% guarantee. On the other hand, I
can guarantee you Greenspan will pass away someday:)

So do we have a deal in which I'll deposit you $1000
when Greenspan passes away, but you'll deposit me
$1000 if Fed cuts rate in Jan? Come on, you will
get that $1000 for sure:)
