Ho, ho, ho. Sorry about my Merry Christmas views for those who are still long and not preserving capital.

I hope you are wrong, Chaz. We tend to be bulls on this thread, and optimistic short and long term.

Mike has the best outlook. He is a short term pessimist, and a long term optimist.

The economy is still in good shape, with unemployment low. Greenspan overdid the interest rate, to slow tech, IMO. If he does a 1/2 point drop in January, I think we will take off again.

Even though I will make a lot of money off of the energy crisis in Calif this coming year, it scares me. The real reason for it is the inability, the last 10 years, to build power plants out here. The "Greens" really have been running things in California. Now that people are finding out that they may have to "freeze to death in the dark" out here in the next few years, a lot of attitudes are changing.

I just hope that it does not affect our Silicon Valley Companies. They are paying one hell of a lot more for electricity now.
