Johannes: We got a bunch of these Bible thumpers on public access cable TV here in Kentucky. Some of 'em broadcast shows from their living rooms because they're looking for a church. Mom plays the piano, Sissy sings, Junior plays the guitar and Pop delivers the Bible-based Holy Ghost-inspired sermon. On the contrary, I'm not insulting anyone. I'm just telling it like it is. When Daddy preaches, he whacks the Bible to make a point. If these men and women of God weren't on the public access cable TV channels, then more right-wing whacko-Limbaugh-wannabes would be filling up the time. I'd much rather listen to the storefront ministers. God bless 'em all, including my next-door neighbor, who has a storefront church. P.S. One can be a liberal and also a devoted Christian.
