Limtex, From the perspective we have as investors, from the info available to us, from the conclusions we have all drawn together - I agree with you that this appears to be a big mistake. But you, I, and everyone else here are operating from a position of weakness - we're not privvy to all the info that is weighed during the decision making process. We're out of the loop and probably shouldn't be making judgment calls on the wisdom of carrier decisions/govt. policy. Plus, we're all Q investors - we all read the same info that is shared here - we skew and infect each others thoughts. We're a damn incestuous group, thinking in the same box. We draw our conclusions from our own outside perspective, from info available to us, not from the 'insiders' prospective, from all the info avaiable to them. I bet if we sat down with the carriers and asked them how they can be so stupid to choose the ugly, red headed mutant called umts over our beautiful, shiny CDMA2000 supermodel, they would rattle off a list of reasons that would make a lot of sense. I'm done fighting it. Wcdma appears to ready sooner than many thought. The signs are becoming clearer. Some 3G vendors are guaranteeing delivery timetables AND (thanks to Slacker for pointing this out to me) in some cases making subscriber growth guarantees and accepting stiff penalties if they don't perform.
