Thanks for that story Lee :-) And happiest of holidays to you and everyone else here on Market Gems.

On the flip side, my Dad wanted "Marines of Autumn" for Christmas. I did most of my shopping online but thought I'd go into the bookstore and actually physically get this book for my Dad. Well, there is not a bookstore that had it in stock. After braving the crowds at a few, I got on the phone and called everywhere. Thursday night at midnight I ordered it from Barnes and Noble.com and wouldn't ya know ... I get a confirmation Friday that it was mailed priority overnight (I didn't pay for that) and I got it Saturday! They are based here on the East Coast so I thought I'd get it quicker than from Amazon, but I was amazed it came THAT quickly.

Overall I was really pleased with my ecommerce shopping, there was only one thing that turned out to be not available. I will be really sad if eToys goes out of business. I much prefer to shop from home, and like the reviews you get on the games, toys from people that have bought them.

We have snow on the ground here in NJ, which is so nice. Being a native midwesterner I miss the snow. That may sound crazy to those of you that have been buried in it the last few weeks :-)

Well, happy holidays again to everyone and may this next year bring out the best in us all.

Jean
