The major problem with the likes of Abby is that people listen to them.
I don't know any profession where you can be so wrong so often, regularly cost people such enormous amounts of money, and still command a huge salary, get constant bonuses and perks, and have the media noting and proliferating your every pronouncement as if it were the word of God. The fact that this is the rule and not the exception in this industry is very illuminating, and tells me (among other things) that their job has nothing whatever to do with providing a free source of accurate financial information to the public. Anybody that assumes this to be the case........
Well, I like to quote a friend of mine, who survived living on the streets of Skid Row and South Central L.A., who has this to say about that lifestyle:
If you don't have an angle, then you are the angle!
The difference between the street life he was referring to and the markets we talk about is that there is much more money at stake in the markets, and the game is legal and protected, with the rules largely dictated by the major players for their benefit. The intended angle is largely the same, however: you and I.
As always, JMVHO........YMMV
