Some activists for the mentally ill believe that this facility will criminalize mental illness. Well, maybe these same activists will start asking where the families of all of these mentally ill people are. And I would rather have them in a large institution than living out on the streets in the middle of winter like here in DC. As for the rate of change in our society, I suggest you ponder the fact that we've only been flying through the air for a little less than 100 years. And not more than 50 years ago most people didn't have a Television. The rate of change has always been fast in this century, if not the last.
