Ya know, on wall street they actually use bullish
and bearish sentiment to predict the future index
movement. Believe it or not, the higher the ratio
of Bulls/Bears, the more negative the indicator.
The theory is that if people are really Bullish,
then they are probably heavily invested and not
much cash around for more purchases so the market
could be in for a fall. The reverse of course is
in effect with lots of people Bearish, there is lots
of cash laying around to invest.

Its a very interesting measure of sentiment, I think.
