CC, If they made the weather colder than usual, I'd like to meet those guys. <g> It is possible, but I don't really think higher oil prices had much to do with this election. It did in 1980, but, even then, the impotency of the Carter Presidency in the face of the Iran hostage situation had much more impact. So, there was certainly no reason for oil people to want to make Gore look good, and they may have spiked prices, but I doubt that was the difference in the electoral college.
