I'm still curious about Nader's part in this election and hope that some day reporters will do a more thorough investigation. Why was he pro-Republican? And again, there are those rumors in these parts that the Republican Party put up money for his run in Oregon.

Someone asked me, "why would you vote for Nader?"

I said, "He's a consumer's advocate."

He said, "What has Nader done in the last 20 years or so?"

I said, "I don't know."

Reply: "The only thing Nader ever done is prove the Corvair was defective." I don't know if that response is completely true but what has Nader been doing apart from a pro-Republican stance?
