Softechie,

Your thoughts are very relevant to this market. In no time throughout history have super-bubbles EVER had a soft landing - typically they collapse just as strongly and even more severe than was the runup.

Even the Nikkei didn't have pe's like the tech sector has and I doubt there will be anything resembling a bottom until no one thinks we've hit bottom. The market keeps sputtering.

Many keep repeating how the internet will continue to change the world; but as we know, American's are a greedy lot and often don't like to accept reality until it slaps them hard.

Considering the recent drop in the nasdaq, I'm going for the longer-term shorts. I'll just short and hold overvalued hyped issues. This every day constant tick-watching gets ridiculous when most stocks make their biggest moves in short time periods.

I'm still surprised at how many people still believe analists and cnbc - like those folks would ever give out free and reliable stock tips... We're better off listening to ourselves and continuing to educate ourselves.

Currently on my short list: webm brcd ntiq rimm pgr beas scmr vrts cien. Not a pe under 250 in the bunch.

Continue posting your short ideas - excellent work.
